Inspirational people
Over the summer I have had the chance to catch up with friends who inspire and rejuvenate my thinking and practice. It's difficult for us to get together as we're all busy working. One friend was teaching Pilates in Hong Kong and it's a delight to have her back over here, her sense of humour and realistic approach always lifts me. My London Professor friend makes me think deep about the greater picture of life, morals and discipline as he never ceases in his quest for knowledge from the most unexpected sources. My friends from my physiotherapy background here in Wilmslow and Manchester and those who currently work in the NHS keep me grounded and I love to listen to their stories and case histories. As our classes have now re-started for the autumn term it's now the turn of my own teachers at the studio to inspire me as I watch the hard work and dedication that they put into their classes and the people who come to the studio. These lovely people get the last word as they are the real inspiration, they challenge us the most and give us the most joy as they turn up every week (sometimes more often) and get on with working on their own bodies with our guidance. Thanks everyone, feeling the love!
