Thu 7th Mar: The 50/50/50 Challenge for Christie needs your help

The 50/50/50 Challenge for Christie needs your help
The 50/50/50 Challenge was launched locally in early 2012 with the goal of raising £50,000 for The Christie, the largest cancer treatment, research and education centre in Europe. A friend of ours has benefitted from the treatment and support provided by The Christie and seen at first hand the wonderful work they do! Amazingly this target has already been reached; but there are no plans to stop! Many have contributed their time and effort to the challenge by running, cycling or simply helping out. Sadly we are not bike-riders, or runners but we are reasonably keen skiers. So we plan to do our little bit by skiing 50miles on the 25th March this year . There are lots of ups before the downs and this challenge will mean not only a lot of ski-ing, but sitting on chair lifts for over 25miles so the total distance covered will be over 75 miles. We certainly need to be on the very first lift of the day and still ski-ing as the sun goes down to achieve this distance! It would be fantastic if you can sponsor us in this challenge; Big or small, literally every penny counts! You can contribute by going to the Just Giving web site at where you can read about why the charity was set up and all the other folk contributing; you’ll have to scroll down to find us under “Grazyna Moore 50/50/50ski. Or you can go straight to the 50/50/50ski page at Alternatively a cheque would also be great! Please make cheques payable to “SJ & CE Hayward 505050 Fund for the Christie – 04831276” and send to G Moore, 44 Carrwood Road, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5DN Thank you in advance, Grazyna, Robert, Adam and Kris.
