Classes
At the studio on Hawthorn Lane, we run Pilates matwork classes from beginner level through to advanced. It is an effective, sociable way to learn the matwork routine. The classes are run in 6 week blocks and cover Release, Alignment, Breathing, Centring and basic exercises, moving on to more challenging routines and small equipment use.
Consultations
Private assessments and consultations are available by arrangement at both Hawthorn Lane and Chapel Lane studios. We recommend an initial consultation if you have specific musculo-skeletal problems of your physio/medical advisor has suggested you do Pilates. During these sessions your teacher can discuss any individual problems, assess your posture and core strength and advise accordingly.
